These spectacular vintage ruby and diamond flower earrings showcase one of jewelry's most extraordinary techniques: the invisible setting. Over 200 precisely cut rubies are fitted together without visible prongs, creating a seamless surface of vibrant ruby red that seems to glow from within.
Each flower is formed by softly sculpted heart-shaped petals surrounding a sparkling brilliant-cut diamond center. Crafted in warm 18K rose and yellow gold, the earrings have beautiful depth and presence while remaining incredibly wearable.
Perfectly matched to the brooch shown on the photos ( sold separately ), these earrings capture the glamour of the mid-20th century, when invisible setting was at its finest. Made famous by Van Cleef & Arpels, the technique is rarely seen today because it requires an extraordinary level of precision and craftsmanship.
