Victorian Style Vintage GARNET Black Enamel 12k Yellow Gold Pin Bar Brooch, C 1920s-30s

This Victorian style beautifully textured Dark Rich Red Garnet Bar Brooch dates from the brief Victorian Revival period of the 1920s-1930s. The stunning and strikingly stylized fringe design long and Extra Chic. Movement was everything during Victorian Era. These dangling garnets aren't just for sparkle; the "fringe" or "tassel" look was borrowed from military regalia. It represented vitality and life. When the wearer move or breathed, the brooch "live" with them.
This Victorian revival masterpiece is a "heavyweight" in every sense of the word. While most antique bar brooches are dainty, this one clocks in at a hefty 11 grams of solid 12k gold—you can feel the quality the moment you pick it up.
The Center of the brooch is dramatically accented with glossy black enamel with bright round garnet and four smaller suspended Garnets. 
Coming from the center are five round garnets on either side of the bar pin capped with a gleaming finials.
At 2.5 inches long, it features approximately 2 carats of fiery, orangy-red garnets that truly glow against the crisp black enamel. But the design isn’t just for show; it’s a coded Victorian message:
The Scallop Shell: Representing life’s journey and rebirth.
The Acorn Finials: A classic symbol of strength and longevity.
The Fringe: These dangling garnets add movement, catching the light as you move.
The Garnets are Deep Rich Red that only Pyrope garnets have.
