1900s 5.82ct Authentic Antique Australian Opal and Diamond Cluster Cocktail 18K Yellow Gold Ring

A magnificent turn-of-the-century late Victorian, early Edwardian Opal and Diamond Cluster 18k Gold ring, Circa 1900
This Crystal Australian opal displays electric play of color in a Oval shape. The confetti like pattern with all the colors of the rainbow: blue, yellow, sunset orange, turquoise, purple, green and red. The opal has a Gorgeous Array of All the Colors, depending on how the flashes of colors are viewed from different angles caused by the light that is infused into the stone.. No black dead spots or No gemological evidence of crazing is present! A delightful piece for an avid opal collector.
The Center is Australian Crystal Opal is Simply Stunning, measuring approximately 14.40x10.21mm and 4.78ct ( estimated ), solid crystal, all natural with lots of fire and great brilliance. Surrounded by 16 OLD European Cut Diamonds with estimated total weight of 1.04ct, G-H Color, VS-SI clarity overall, Very White and Clear, unusually High Quality for that period!
The Ring is tested 18k Yellow gold with slightly Rose overtone, made in England.
The ring measures approx. 18.90mm long by 15.70mm wide.
The band tapers from 2.62mm to 1.40mm.
The weight of the ring is 4.90gr, nice and solid.
The finger size is 6 1/4(sizable).
