Art Deco GIA 3.25ct OLD European cut Diamond Drop Dangling EARRINGS

A sleek and sexy pair of ART DECO Diamond Drop Earrings with bright and sparkling Old European diamonds in Buttercup settings suspend from glittering fanciful diamond flares in these almost 1 3/4 inches long and extraordinarily lovely and lustrous drop earrings crafted in 18K White gold and together weighing 3.25 carats, dating from CIRCA 1930s.

The Old European cut diamonds drops are set into butternut cup, weighing 1.31ct - L SI2 and 1.14ct - K SI2, GIA certified ( copies of GIA are shown). Stunning drop diamonds have a soft romantic glow that only fond in antique diamonds. Both diamonds well matched and faces up nice, eye clean.
The drops Suspended from spray of diamonds with articulated connections. The estimated total weight is 0.88ct.
The earrings are just under 13/4 inch long ( 44mm). Light in weight 7.78 grams, easy to wear. The later French clip and post fittings stamped in 18K.

Condition report:
Overall light wear commensurate with age and use. All diamonds are present and appear original, no visible chips. No signs of damage or repair to the mounts, just overall rubbing and general ware to the metal. Cleaned and ready to wear.
