A beautiful Chrysoberyl and Pink Topaz Diamond ring from Belle Époque (ca1910) era!
Featuring a magnificent, dazzling bright green Old European Chrysoberyl, 2 Old European Pink Topazes and twinkling old Rose cut diamonds in this classic Navette shape Cluster Ring.
A delightful piece for any antique and Gem collector. Chrysoberyl is a "little secret" gemstone. One of the most brilliant gems, it has a high degree of fire and almost rivals that of diamonds. Anxious to access the wealth of the new world, voyages by the Portuguese and Spanish hastened the discovery of these gemstones. Often mistakenly referred to as chrysolite, they are quite rare. Collectors have held on to these obscure colored stones, which range from pale yellow to puce soft green. Its use in jewelry has all but disappeared today, and it remains very rare.

The Antique Natural 3.50ct ( estimated ) Chrysoberyl has lots of fire, it's 9.16*7.82*6.42mm. Soft romantic Pink Topazes in Old European round cut compliment golden green Chrysoberyl perfectly. Measure 4.22 mm each, estimated total weight is 1.0ct. Old Rose-Cut Diamonds, estimated weight is 0.50CT in H-I color, SI1 clarity.
The Ring is 18k Yellow gold and Platinum ( tested), and most likely was made in France. The metals have a beautiful touch of antique patina!
The ring measures approx. 21.60mm long and 12.18mm wide, 6.49mm height. Truly a Show stopper, but yet very wearable.
The band with gorgeous Fleur-de-Lys shoulders tapers from band 5.19mm to 1.60mm.
The weight of the ring is 4.69 grams.
The finger size is 5.5 (sizable).
Given the ring's age and condition just very minor sign of wear on the mount, slight patina. Gemstones are in good condition, minor bruising with no loss visible. The diamonds appear all in place and original. We think that it was staying in one family without being sold and re-sold.
